Thanks sambarhunter! I assume you were referring to my photo? I'm not a taxidermist, but I did do the habitat work on the mounts - except for the one in the glass case.

Some live ones.

Got these shots touring South Africa after 2010 hunt.

Yes they are new to me and very interesting as said..it sends out messages to my mind to use on my taxidermist.

Camp bread

This was cooked in a Bedourie oven,a lighter version of the traditional cast iron camp oven in the back ground.

My wife and I went on our "Huntingmoon" to Namibia in 2011. We stalked a bachelor herd of Hartmann's Zebra for over 3 miles and took these two fine Stallions just seconds apart. It was July 10, 2011 which was our 1 year anniversary. They were the most special trophies and hunt of the entire safari. Our Anniversary Zebras.

Making friends near the Swakopmund River.

A couple of Klipspringer in the morning sun.

A pair of Warthogs for the meat pot at camp. My wife and I loved hunting together and tried to take animals two at a time to share in the experience.

And finally my first African animal. A Gold Medal Gemsbok taken on the first day or our Safari at twilight. We stalked in really close and and made a great clean kill. The first African sunset in the background made this animal very special to me.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
