Great competition and great offer.
Some great hunting pics as well.
I don't take many pics when I am hunting.
Both because I usually am to busy hunting and secondly I don't like so much to take hero shots of myself and the animal I have shot.
But I will post 3 pics that are not great, but they are of importance to me and are pics of great memories.
First is from when I was a young man and hunted together with my father and my grandfather.
My father took the pic.
The second is of my kids on their first fallow deer hunt with me.
The third is from the first time my son experienced me shooting deer and I made a double on 2 bucks withing 5-6 secs.
Here are a couple pictures from my wife and I's first trip to Africa this past August. The Gemsbok was my first animal so Boycee (my guide) put the blood on my face and also cut out a piece of the liver for me to eat. The last picture is the sunset at the end of a hard day hunting. Had an unbelieveable trip and had to wait many years to save money and for my wife to get back from being deployed to finally make it happen. Huntershill Safaris was a great place to go and we did the "Bobby Pucket Special" and it was fantastic
Awesome idea ... someone gets a hunt of a lifetime ... the rest of us get to relive some of our personal favorite moments in the field as well as getting to share the wonderful experiences of all of our AH friends!!! Just the thing to pass the time until the DSC meeting!!!!
I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
