Nice young bull gemsbuck taken with a single shot to the front chest. They make a great Euro mount as well as a great shoulder mount.

What a fantastic trophy animal this big mare is. This was the hardest animal to locate and sneak up on during our entire trip. This rug is truly a treasured memory and centerpiece in our home.

Bow hunting selfie taken while hunting in Texas. Very hot temperatures made the animals think otherwise about coming around. That 's hunting though, not every trip means an animal in the cooler but what a great experience!

Beautiful free range blackbuck taken in Texas in Dec 2014. What a cool animal to see and harvest while deer hunting in the great state of Texas. Great tasting animal too!

Elk hunting here in Colorado. I didn 'to find an elk but I did find loads of tarantulas. No, I didn't kill it. I just wanted to play with it for a bit. Wonderful weather (for me ) made for a very tough and unsuccessful hunt but lots of fun and exercise !

Here is a photo of my trophy room. I have a very understanding wife to be sure. This is between our kitchen and living room so they are always on display, not tucked away in some "man cave" in the basement or garage. Notice the animals on the left, an Axis buck in velvet and a Scimitar-horned oryx. Both taken in Texas. On the right next to the gemsbuck skull is a Barren ground caribou taken on the Alaskan island of Adak island.

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
