Man, its like trying to sell fish to fishermen.

You will find as you spend time here that this is a very experienced and knowledgable membership. People know the right questions to ask. I don't find that question remotely out of line.

For those of you all wondering about the provenance of the rifle, the bill of sale from the German dealer included Mwst, or the 19% sales tax levied on all brand new, never sold goods. While I think the dealer I purchased it from had bought it from another dealer, those of you who are from Europe or have spent time in Germany will recognize the rifle was never in private hands. (The German government taxes used goods differently — Henceforth, I feel very confident asserting the rifle has never been fired outside of the factory.)

Going to leave this on AH for another week or so, then this will be pushed out to the wider market on GI/GB, etc.

Have had quite a bit of interest, but unfortunately no takers (yet) for this rifle -- listing on GI.
