I went Yesterday (Friday). Made 2 trips at 2 hrs each up and down each isle. Some good looking deals on several African hunts that I would have been very interested in if I hadn't hunted those animals before (buffalo and sable combos). A lot of RV's including some monster pickup/camper combos.

I went today and agree that there were more African outfitters than I expected.
Most with what seem like very well priced packages.
Chatted with a couple and grabbed some brochures so got the little wheels in the head turning again…

Talked to THABA. Family run Mother Son when I talked to them.
Had a Package #4 Buffalo up to 40” good looking Bosses, they said self sustaining area.
Less than $9000.

We hunted deer and elk there 1980-1994. Camp was 13 miles up the road, good hunting on the ridges to the west. Also hiked down Broken Rib trail by the spring all the way down, across French creek (or Grizzly Creek, I forget which). We also hiked and hunted all the way to I-70 before the Bair Ranch rest area was there. Tough hunts, good memories, great friends. Most have since passed.
Good country. From Coffee Pot Road, you can go southwest and look into Grizzly Creek and spot bighorn rams. I've done that a few times when scouting/guiding sheep in S74.

I avoid the Denver cesspool at all costs, except for the Expo and National Western. Expo requires a stop at Sam's for my annual biscuits and gravy.
Wendy and I will be at the rodeo on the 18th.

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
