The Dakota 416 Rigbys are excellent rifles and worth far more than they sell for. Mine is a tack driver as well.Stunner! Now you need the .416 Rigby that makes a great buddy to this one!

BR as in benchrest? Sound like you know how to ruin a fine sporting rifleIf I was going to go all out for a top end rifle, the 76 would be my first choice. I don't know how you could do better. In a McMillan stock a top make barrel and a fine BR gunsmith to put it all together.

Just make sure you guys put the correct Talley rings on your Dakota’s. There’s more than one design and they aren’t interchangeable.
Yes and there are more than one for Dakota. Depends on build date.Scott you are correct. Talley standard will not fit Dakota Bases. Talley made special bases and rings for Dakota. Just tell the guys at Talley you need for Dakota and they will send the correct ones.
