New account here, but not new to guns, gun-smithing or gun making! I've been working on a few project rifles, and thought some of you might appreciate seeing the custom front sights and quarter ribs I've designed and manufactured! Both front sight bases use the Recknagel Universal front inserts, one having been styled off of the Griffin and Howe rifles, and the other reminiscent of the Rigby big game guns.

The G&H inspired front sight will be used on a lefty Model 70, in a calibre yet to be determined.

welcome. Nice styles! Looks like you have a 3d printer as well, useful for prototyping. Sent you message

I just wanted to compliment your machinists hammer. Truly, you're an experienced journeyman. I'm impressed with your proficiency far beyond my own.

Thank you so much! If you're referring to the image with the quarter rib, that's actually the back end of a forged axe that a friend had made for me!

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
