Great idea. What could go wrong?

Attendance at "Club Fed" is the least of your worries. Locked up in some third world shithole prison is more concerning.

It shouldn't be too difficult to get around taking the vaccine, if that is what you choose.
"People with a history of severe allergic reaction to any component of the vaccine should not take it".....WHO website.
Severe allergic reactions may not be fully documented in some countries. Components of vaccine easy to look up. Wonder what punishment the genius with the fake vax card factory will get? As Rick said, at "The American Cafe"......Gestapo spank.......................FWB

"This defendant allegedly defrauded and endangered the public by preying on fears and spreading misinformation about FDA-authorized vaccinations, while also peddling fake treatments that put people’s lives at risk. Even worse, the defendant allegedly created counterfeit COVID-19 vaccination cards and instructed her customers to falsely mark that they had received a vaccine, allowing them to circumvent efforts to contain the spread of the disease," said Deputy Attorney General Lisa O. Monaco."

Notice what she was charged with. Then see which the writer of this POS article thinks is worse. Peddling fake treatments or making fake vac cards! "even worse"! The horror, the horror....
What a joke!

You do realize that a vaccinated person can carry and transmit the virus right? The vaccine is to help protect only yourself from getting seriously ill, not help stop transmission.
About 5% of vaccinated people will still get COVID. These 5% are the people that can still transmit the virus. The other 95% do not get COVID and therefore cannot spread the virus. This is getting lost in the confusion. You cannot spread a virus that you never contract. The 95% of vaccinated people that don’t get COVID do not become carriers of COVID.

To me, requiring masks for vaccinated people is ridiculous. With only 5% possibly getting the virus compared to 100% of unvaccinated people possibly getting the virus, the CDC should just concentrate on the unvaccinated. The possible spread of the virus from the 5% of vaccinated people is not significant enough to require masking for vaccinated people and just causes more drama and hesitancy for unvaccinated people to get the vaccine. We cannot remove all risk with life and the CDC needs to prioritize much better with the real problem. Vaccinated people are not the problem.

Messing with patients health decisions is definitely not a joke and this woman should be jailed. Fake treatments for any disease should be stopped.

@Just Gina, thank you for sharing your experience and what you know.

Do you say the same thing regarding the yearly flu shots which most people dont avail themselves of? Blame them for making others sick and to sometimes die?
Some 30000 plus Americans die every year from the yearly flu?
BTW, why be worried about what it cost? We have insurance, isnt that what its for?
Since you asked, I will give my opinion. The flu shot is much less effective than the COVID vaccines, and the yearly flu is much less deadly. I still get the yearly flu shot because I hate being sick. But yes, I do blame people who spread highly contagious diseases despite knowing and having access to means to prevent doing so, just as I would blame a coworker who shows up to work sick and gets everyone else sick. To be very clear, that is just my personal opinion. I do not think that there is any responsibility for the government to get involved here and it is entirely up to each person to decide what is best for them. I may disagree with their choice but it is still ultimately their choice. In retrospect, my original post was not worded as eloquently as I would have liked. I worry about the cost not only because of the disproportionate impact that COVID has on the Medicare population, but also because it takes resources away from the hospital and other patients to have to deal with a sudden surge in COVID hospitalizations. But to reiterate, I have my personal feelings toward people who make certain decisions, but those are my personal feelings. You are free to disagree and do as you please.

I dont really disagree with this, however saying this vaccine is more effective than the flu shot may not be quite accurate. I have had the flu shot since 1998, last time I had the flu, and havent had it since and ZERO side effects. As to being less deadly? Upwards of 30,000 Americans die from flu and its complications every year. 10 years is then over 300,000 folks, something to think about.
There is always someone walking around with a communicable disease unvaccinated somewhere. There is only so much that can be done. I am glad to see you say you dont believe that govt should be insisting or mandating everyone get the shots. I agree with that wholeheartedly.

What I meant by "what a joke" was the way the POS article seemed to say that making false vac cards was worse than fake treatments.

As a Jew who lost most of my family in the Holocaust, the idea of mandating any type of medical procedure is absolutely abhorrent to me. With regard to the flu shot, you are pretty lucky then. I tend to get the flu maybe every 2 years despite getting the shot. Might also be because I spend a lot of time around my young nieces and nephews.

I hate that your family went through that Saul. One of my close friends survived Tarnow. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”

Yes and the virus will continue to mutate in the unvaccinated people worldwide which just causes more and more variants.

Scott, actually your statement is accurate from a mass media perspective, but exactly the opposite is true.

This is the first time in human history when mass vaccination is pushed onto the whole population in the middle of a pandemic. This causes the virus mutations that are actually called virus escape. It is the vaccinated people that are forcing the viruses to mutate in order to survive, as a response to the vaccine. If none would be vaccinated, there will be a time when the heard immunity will be reached and the virus will taper off and disappear.

That is the reason all the previous pandemics ended in about 18 mph maximum. Since the recorded history.

The mass vaccination is always applied before a pandemic for this exact reason.

This explanation is quite simple. If you manage to take off the blinders built by mass media for the last 2 years, you could understand it as well.

One last thing. This is old knowledge. Big pharma knows it too. But by doing what they are doing now and bring up the unending boosters, just check what it does to their bottom line.

Precisely. It's a money game and as long as politicians and big pharma can keep scaring people they will continue. How do we know these boosters are not causing variants which in turn makes pharma more money by peddling the next dose of poison. Bottom line, folks. Vaccination or not, this is not going away any time soon. Too much political and pharma manipulation and money at stake.

Some of this is either contradictory or only part of reality while missing some key elements.

Viruses mutate, yes. It's random, but selection pressure is going to favor a "fitter" virus that spreads more easily and evades the immune system better. (See 'Delta' variant)

A theory on variants that has been verified several times is that immunocompromised people who are infected for months are a factory for mutations and variants of Sars-CoV2. Giving those people the vaccine so they can either have a shorter (or no) infection is a critical step in getting control of the pandemic.

Your assertion that vaccinated people are forcing the virus to evolve is mostly wrong though, especially when you add that 'if none would be vaccinated, there will be a time when the herd immunity will be reached...' It's a non-sequitur. Someone who's been vaccinated has neutralizing antibodies and memory T cells the same as someone who has recovered from infection. How do you figure one group will make '....the virus taper off and disappear' but not the other?

Government bureaucracy was a predictable dismal failure as always. The news media is demonstrating how clueless they are about every subject they cover. Unscrupulous 'doctors' and snake oil peddlers are coming out of the woodwork to get rich selling confirmation bias and duping people with technical sounding misinformation on youtube.

Usually not a fan of big pharma, but with these vaccines they've hit a home run. I hope they get rich because that is just the kind of incentive we need. (No, I don't work for them)

If anything, the fact that America was able to develop three successful vaccines in record time while every other country, especially China and Russia, failed to get even one off of the ground demonstrates why capitalism is superior.

To be fair, the Russians and Chinese have developed vaccines of their own. The information available though shows the new mRNA vaccines of Pfizer and Moderna to be better in almost every way that counts than the Russian Sputnik V and the various Chinese efforts.

You are correct, they did manage to make vaccines that have utterly failed and have resulted in hundred if not thousands of deaths of healthcare workers around the world who were given these vaccines and assured that they were protected.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
