Christian arms 6.5 creedmore

The 6.5 CREEDMOOR, not 'more'o_O is a good round. I don't hunt with one but have a Springfield M1A so chambered and its an accurate easy shooting rifle. I think you will like it.
Blonde moment! Lol

Very nice rifle. That combo should be a really good shooter. I like the bronze. I just purchased a Weathermark bronze and really like it

i have a mesa in 7mm - it's a tack driver. beautiful gun also.

You lucky dog JB, you got a sweet rig in your hands. Call me if you don't like it. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::LOL::LOL:

BTW, Reeds Sports has the Mesa Black Tungsten for $1149 shipped, which I don't believe is a bad deal at all.

Go for it! Lol

shhhhh, don't tell anyone, our secret, I just bought a Whitworth 375 H&H. However, I see a 6.5 in my future. :LOL::ROFLMAO:

Try some of the factory 142 grain Nosler ABLR from winchester. They shoot well out of my 6.5CM and the high BC is nice.

you will enjoy that rifle. I get the earplugs on a string and wrap the string a loop around the top button on my hat, then tuck the plugs in the hat. Works well for keeping them handy when hunting because that brake is going to be loud.

Will do guys. Bought one box of hornady 143 eld-x and one box of 130 federal in Barnes ttsx. Let see what she likes.

Legend, I have 3 other choices of 6.5 CM factory ammo you are welcomed to try when we sight her in - all stuff my CA Mesa 6.5 CM liked. I ended up going with the 140g Accubond Federal Premium in mine, but YMMV.

Nice rifle. Different color scheme than mine (black webbing and grey ceracote) so we won’t mix em up.

Very good deal. Like @johnnyblues said, what are you waiting on?

Hello, can anyone tell me the difference between Mesa and Ridgeline or the Black Tungsten mentioned?

I really like the 7mm-08 I’m hoping to build one on a Tikka action with a Carbon fibre stock for lightweight.

2 things I want er well went next. A lightweight 7mm-08 and a .300wm unless there i a 7mmRM that I can’t refuse.

I like the fact I can interchange my Tikka accessories having a few but I am not opposed to Remington or clones I wanted a 7mm-08 Model7 30 years ago and have a M700 HB .223.

I know Christiansen Arms can be HD here but pretty pricey. But but I should not be buying manny more rifles so I am open to something a little different and. Lightweight will be good for just regular walking Huang pigs up the creek even if it is just an incentive to excerise.

That’s the difference, the Mesa has a regular metal barrel, and the ridge line has a carbon fiber barrel. Same action.

Can anyone chime in with experiences or preferences?
I see both can be had in Australia at similar prices from a large store. The Ridgeline at $3400 seems decent value on our market. I can really affrord it but its worth considering opposed to building . It is advertised as the "Full Custom Build cased" it has a fluted bolt and is cased. I saw some reference to CB serial numbers on the CA site but no detail.
The dilemma would be do i go for the 7mm-08 lightweight for everyday or just go all out and have a.300wm.
I cannot justify either but i still want a rifle in each chambering

I have its twin and it shoots my best handloads into little 5 shot 3/8 in groups and all factory loads I have tried so far are under a inch. You got a great rifle and will enjoy shooting it.

About a year ago at the range the range master asked me to shot a guys 6.5 Beraga as they guy was shooting 8 in groups at 100 with hornaday 143 factory ammo. so checked the scope and all the normal problems with bad groups. and sat down at the bench and shot a 3/4 in group. Well had the gent shot it and to say the problem was him was a understatement. So spent the next couple hours coaching basic rifle marksmanship and he was able to shoot 2in groups.

The Bergara's are fantastic rifles as is the 6.5 CM. Twice I've taken a 6.5 CM to Africa. Took everything up to and including kudu, wildebeest, gemsbok without an issue. The light recoil allows you to place shots very accurately and practice without recoil issues prior to the hunt.

$3400! Holy crap.
I don’t consider t cheap but a carbon fibre stock is $1100, lets say a secondhand Tikka is valued at $1000 a carbon fibre barrel is every bit of here.
Granted I don’t have to have a CF barrel but the Ridgeline Full Custom Build cased at one store is $3400 others $3800+

I a man a bit of a bargain hunter and when I start looking I start thinking and dreaming and maybe I buy it, I have more chance of the CA holding value than a custom of my own desire if I want to sell, I think . Not that I want to sell

Mesa are similar price , not sure why

$1000 only buys me $650american

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)
