Bullet Performance Database

Ok we have a request,
Congratulations. Like to see some pictures of the game.
Sierra Game King 165g Impala,

The GK's worked really well, I dropped a Kudu Cow at 225m the GK wasn't recovered as it was clean through, the exit was impressive.

The Blue Wildebeest,
RWS 224 KS,

My husband has deep respect for Wildebeest, they are tough animals!

Oryx, again RWS 224 KS,

IMG-20250331-WA0002~2.jpg

This animal was quartering away and was shot just inside of the right shoulder 75m and only went a short distance.

8x68 224g is a great combination bearing in mind the cartridges were 20 years old.

These three taken in Limpopo this March we were hosted by Baobab Safaris but we were hunting with EasiAfrica Safaris, we had a great time!
I may share the Lion photos later?

6.5 Creedmoor and Nosler Ballistic-Tip 120 gr reloaded with Vihtavuori N555 at ~ 870 m/s (2854 f/s).

I was waiting in a little meadow for a fox, but a nice wild boar decided to cross it at around 100 meters. No time to switch the Nosler against a Barnes TTSX !
I wistled the animal that stopped. I aimed the shoulder and at the impact, the boar dropped on the spot, but it stood up and ran toward the hedge that was very close. My dog, who is usually very quiet, ran to the place where the boar disapeared and started to bark immediately.
He bayed it, and I was thinking the animal was still alive. I ran to the place to help my dog but fortunately, the boar was already stone dead. It ran less than 20 meters before expiring.

When I skinned it, I recovered the bullet under the skin, just behind the opposite shoulder. It is just the rear part of the jacket, without its lead core.

Pigs are dense and as we see can push a ballistic tip to their limit.
