I may regret this but have decided to let my 602 go.
Rifle has a 14in length of pull. Comes with a set of 30 MM rings.
the picture pretty much speak for themselves.

$2650 delivered to your FFL

Just the lack of money in a horrible economy. This is a good example. Heck I’ve seen several Ruger Safari Magnums selling for $2,200 in the last months when a year ago they were $3,000 minimum guns.

This is a heckuva deal as the 602s a smoother cleaner gun than the 550 in my opinion.
What horrible economy? Low unemployment, low inflation, sky-high stock markets? I just saw a CZ 550 in 500 Jeffery sell on GB for over $7k. If anything prices are high right now. I lost out on an A-Square rifle last month at auction that went for $14k plus buyers premium. More likely the cause is the fact that it’s a 375 H&H, thats a fairly common caliber.

Low inflation? I will say the truly well to do haven’t had many issues. Really high end guns (5k plus) seem to be selling decently.

But the middle class doesn’t have expendable cash. Struggling to pay bills a lot of folks who would normally splurge and buy nice guns that are on the upper end of their budget, $2k-$4000 sales are slumped hard. I haven’t seen so many good deals languish on here until the last few months.

Auction I attended and picked up the 602 at beginning of this month had about 12 heavy magnums in it and nearly all went for low dollars... I paid $1500 total with buyers fees and shipping included for mine this one is in .375

Well send the details my way then. I was looking at a .500 A-square on GB that just sold for $9300. The cheapest big-bore I've seen was that CZ 550 in .505 GIbbs that was recently listed for $6700. Even the Ruger RSM on GB are $4-5K. None of which are left handed either. Not that it matters anymore since I've basically given up on finding a LH big bore rifle for under 10K. I had a line on two big bore A-square rifles on this very forum, but both sellers backed out. Anything under $5K seems to be slim-pickens. Anytime I see this scenario I know the economy is good. I call it my guns, booze, and woman (GBW) economic indicator. If ya'll have money to spend on those three things, the eco can't be all bad.

ZKK602 dont have issues.....ask Rigby....
@IvW
The old 602 in 375 is the quintessential African rifle in my book. Only ever seen one in my life and the owner will never part with it. Slick as baby snot and feeds and shucks shells as quick as you can work the bolt. They aren't light compared to some modern rifles but that weight helps with recoil.

You obviously don't live in Australia.
Medium unemployment
High inflation
High electric cost
High food prices
High fuel prices. Diesel $8aud/ gallon.
House prices thru the roof.
High immigration with out infrastructure to support it
Increase in middle income homelessness due to sky rocketing rents .
Sky high stock markets don't worry 99% of Australians as they are struggling to get by week to week.
But despite all that life is good. I can still go hunting

Sounds like the USA under the Biden/Harris Administration

My 602 had a stage one by Wayne several years ago, English stock, mag holds 6 rounds, came with a Kahles which I sent back to Kahles for a rebuild. Getting ready to use it next year for Buffalo. Oh yeah, .375 H&H. Was a safe Queen , cost me 2 large plus mods.

I am quite surprised at the lack of response to this. What am I missing altho I believed for some time firearm sales on this forum have slipped and the interest in Brno/CZ has lessened . I did not think it was to this extent.
Live and learn.

And then there are those.....

Of us planning or getting close to time for wheels up for an international hunt, and/ or draw hunt that can't or don't want to spend funds that might, or will be needed to cover extra animals, or other expenses while on a hunt, or during our travels.

It's the holiday seasons. For many that means: travel expenses, holiday shopping, increase in monthly expenses, etc.

It's also hunting season which many will be traveling to various types or multiple types of hunting camps ie deer, waterfowl, bear, elk, upland bird, and/or any combinations whether in their respective state or in multiple states being host or hosted by friends/family.

The temptations to purchase several nice firearms have been great. So far I have been able to resist, but it has been difficult. Seems to never fail, all the good deals and offers on firearms and accessories I'm most interested in only come up when I'm getting close to an international hunt or committing to other major purchases.

Not last or least the people having to prioritize finances for themselves, family members, friends, community, or any combinations thereof in recovering from the various latest national disasters.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
