BRNO 602 375 H&H

Well depending on where a person is on the economic scale it is either just a bit annoying that the price of food, insurance, fuel,mortgages/rent etc have gone up to having to prioritize how to feed their families and keep a roof over their heads. Hopefully the change in administrations will fix a number of these.

That being said I have priced this at what I consider a fair price. If it doesn't sell shortly I will pull it and restock it for my LOP and keep it.

Given the condition, I don't think you are out of line with the price at all.

However if you do decide to keep that rifle and restock it; I'll buy the original stock off of you.

WOW, no BS that is a great Brno. Not going to buy but if AHR (Wayne) was still doing mods I would.
This piece should turn over quick.
That is the best looking Brno I have seen in a while and in the ubiquitous 375 caliber.
Wish Wayne was still doing CZ/Brnos.
Jordan Switzer out of AZ has my Brno right now... he's done several guns for me, and friends, and his work is absolutely elite. I'd say arguably the best in the country. If you have one you want worked over, give him a shout. Can't recommend Jordan highly enough.

How much does that 602 weigh?

@AZDAVE that is a great 602. By far the best factory configuration in my opinion.

With the classic french walnut stock and the standard trigger, it’s very hard to find.

I have your rifle’s twin in 458 Lott. I think it’s just a nicer set up than 602s with the Weatherby style stock or CZ 550s with their thicker bulkier stocks.

Bump for a great rifle.

It’s a beautiful rifle. I have not handled a Brno 602 but I kept my 2nd CZ550
I wish it had the barrel band because, I just like it.
I have seen some good deals come up in Australia previously but now it seems I cannot afford to part with my CZ550, or maybe it’s more I could not afford to replace it when I do need one.

That’s because Rigby fixed them and recognized the Brno for the quality base that it brings to the usage.
It is a great one but can be made better.
Like a Tikka?
Yes, they can all be made better, smoothed up , tricked up or customised.
I sold my CZ550 in .458wm to fund my .375H&H CZ550, just my dumb luck I should have stretched the budget to have both.
Now they are increasing in value.
I have bought a few Tikka’s at modest second hand prices and prices seem inflated atm. But we we have no spare $
Anyway, I couldn’t live anywhere else so I make the most of things

I could be talked into selling. No it doesn't have a pop up peep. Will have to check tomorrow and see when it was manufactured.

If I read it right it's DOM is 1991.

Auction I attended and picked up the 602 at beginning of this month had about 12 heavy magnums in it and nearly all went for low dollars... I paid $1500 total with buyers fees and shipping included for mine this one is in .375

Great rifles these old girls, would like a couple more.

Gorgeous wood on yours @eshift, has the stock been cracked & repaired or just added stock reinforcement ?

this one is 1967 vintage and action is very good and smooth - feeds through full magazine very well - hope to get to range next week

Not sure if you realize it, but your ZKK 602 having the relatively rare pop-up peep sight makes it very desirable and increases significantly its value :)

For $1,500 all inclusive, you made out like a bandit! Congratulations :)

I used to have a few ZKK 601 and 602. These are good rifle :)

there is a small tang crack on mine that has been expertly repaired and nearly invisible - well glued (drilled and internal pin) and pinned crosswise and it has stock relieved at the tang, the action recoil lug is glass bedded in accuglass so I take it's an old repair and well done by someone who knew what their doing - it doesn't worry me a it all after careful inspection and the stock grain is properly orientated - the pics I attach show it well - I need to get some new pics when I get it to range as I have Kosap QR rings on it and a vintage Redfield 1 3/4 x 5 scope that I just had overhauled by Trace Scope Repair - its bore sighted and waiting for better weather to get to the range.

Hi PaulB. Would you be interested in another WJ Jeffery .450/.400 NE 3". It's an extractor model and in superb condition, cased as well. Made in 1908. The rifle is here in Texas.
