I am a lefty and this is my dream rifle...caliber and all, to kill a buffalo and tuskless with

I wish that I could buy it but unfortunately it's too much for my budget

less than 10KUSD for a double rifle in .470NE, from a well respected maker, in a good condition with some upgraded wood and a red dot optic and mount thrown in... How is this not sold already to a left-handed shooter. They won't have such an opportunity in months.

(I'm right handed and in Europe, and not looking for a .470NE, these are my excuses!)

This offer is also a great opportunity for someone to have a custom right hand stock built exactly to their needs. If anyone needs info on a great master builder in TX, I can share that info with you.

I have often thought in these classified ads where people wish it was right or left handed...it would be ideal to have some of these guns built with left and right hand stocks.

Does the release move left or right? Just curious. As all lefties know, gun makers put stocks oriented for left handers, but don't reverse the action to become a mirror image.

Lovely rifle, will have to save my pennies for a while, oh wait, there is always the lottery.....lol

It’s made by Henneberger, HMS SAMO QR Mount for Blaser.

Super nice and hard to beat in terms of lowest possible mount and robustness

Definitely not the problem. The problem is lefties comprise 8% of the potential market, but many shoot righty.

I broke my own rules once “never buy a gun you wouldn’t be happy owning for the rest of your life” on a too good to be true deal. A $32,000 pair of London best shotguns…except they were lefty and $4000. I tried to get my money back for about ten years on them. Lefties don’t buy lefty guns for collector value, and their overall market size is so small, things just take a long time to sell at any price.

If you cut the price in half, it won’t sell any faster. It’s a lefty thing.

If I was still looking for a 470, I would seriously consider this right handed action and add a nice custom fitted buttstock for 2-3 grand…coming in well below average for a custom fitted 470.

And if you cut the price in half, consider it sold to me…but it’s worth the 10k for sure!
