I also have a 1st gen Swarovski DS with Blaser Mount that has never been sighted in for $2000. I bought it new at a gun shop.

Note: I am building new M70 customs in my long LOP. I have already built a M70 in 300WSM that fits and wow what a difference. Looking to build 22-250, 257 Weatherby, 375 H&H to go with my 300WSM. Need funds to start these costly projects.

I have done a lot of buys on AH and personally know Gizmo. So check out those I bought from and pickup in person.

Don't know stock grade but not high grade just really nice. I was thinking it was a Grade 3.

Can one build an R8 rifle from those components?

Yes, it will do one complete rifle in 3 calibers.

It will complete two rifles with an additional bolt housing and scope mount. So add $1000 and you would have 2 complete R8 rifles and a M70 Rifle. I was trying to get two full rifles for next trip to Africa.

I have already had offers for parting out but I prefer to sell as a set. I would seperate the M70 out if the buyer does not want or swap in the DS scope for the M70 setup for the same money. The DS has a scope mount included.

I will measure tonight. The 375 H&H is not shortened. It was supposed to be cut to 22" but the gunsmith missed the note and just threaded. Threaded by Grumpys Guns in Arlington, Texas. Thanks.
