Beer Drinking Holidays

In the United States, starting in February there is a series of unofficial holidays. Technically nobody gets the day off but generally they are celebrated at the end of the day by drinking beer with friends. Now I know on this forum many of yall don't need much of an excuse to do that. These holidays include

1. Groundhog Day in February
2. St. Patrick's Day in March
3. Cinco de Mayo in May

I am proposing two more days! Whose with me?!

Texas Independence Day March 2
San Jacinto Day April 21

So with that said tomorrow after work gather with your friends and celebrate Texas Independence Day and we will get together again on the 21st of April

You guys just missed one of the greatest non official holidays of them all. There is no party like Mardi Gras. New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Mamou. There are parades and parties for days leading up Fat Tuesday.

Actually, in Texas not much is really done for either of those days. I am just trying raise international awareness so that one day we could get an official holiday and thus get a another day out of school. Teacher going

I know we have had 2 snow days, but we are also trying to close on a house, get ready to fly fish, pick paint colors and pack everything else for the tile guys to start working....
