@crs maybe shot in the face first, but on a charge you do tend to see bullet wounds spread about the face & head ?

Mario Canales, president of the Mexican Hunting Federation, was killed by a buffalo in Entre Ríos, Argentina, last Friday. The 64-year-old was shooting at the buffalo when it charged at it.

While this is sad news, he died a hunter's death. The risk of injury or death while hunting dangerous game is part of the excitement and challenge to the hunter.

It seems from the video out-takes that he approached the downed buff from the front - major mistake.

As others have pointed out, that video is not of this event and i wouldn't trust anything else stated in the article. We don't even know if there was video of this Argentina hunt.
