Any recommendations for free range hog hunts in the southeast U.S?

I am looking for a multi day hog hunt in the southeast U.S for next February. I would look to do a “free range” hunt from stands during the day, but would be up to some night hunting as well. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I would do a combo nilgai & hog hunt on one of the huge ranches in Deep South Texas
Definitely worth the trip, compared to those canned hunts

I definitely don’t have any interest in a canned hunt even for hogs. I did a Nilgai and Javelina hunt last year in south texas and loved it. Maybe I should just go back.

Pushmataha Plantation in Choctaw County Alabama.

My daughter works for them. You will kill hogs if you can shoot. I would recommend bringing a rifle with night vision or thermal in addition to a conventional rifle and scope.

They do hog hunts in February after deer season closes. They own 7000 acres and lease another 7000. Call and ask for Hunter Kelly, the wildlife biologist and head guide.

Haven’t been there personally but the Choctaws have a huge place in southeastern Oklahoma.

I've looked at a couple areas, including hunting the Big South Fork in Tennessee. It's federal land and open for hunting. I have no idea if it would be any good, but it would be a fun weekend since it's only a few hours' drive for me.

You might try Honey Break Lodge in Louisiana. They’re mainly a duck hunting lodge but in the off season they do some hog hunts.

Lots of places in Texas, especially south Texas. Okeechobee Outfitters in Florida if they’re still operating. Daniel at Florida Native Outfitters should have some places too.

You should look @ The Hogfather Outdoors in southeast Ga. It’s a nighttime thermal hunt, and very fun. He is my “competitor”, but I’m booked 2 years out. You’ll have a great time.

There are some nice deer in the BSFNRRA.
There are supposed, guess depends on where your at, some say hogs are there others say not yet.

It's not BSF, but I saw a wild hog just outside of Gatlinburg in the Smokies earlier this year.

A buddy and I hiked from the Elkmont Campground to Clingman's Dome and then back down by Sugarland Mountain. We wanted to do it in a day, so we hit the trailhead at 3:30am. On our way into the campground, we were driving along the Little River and there was a hog just to the side of the road, super visible.

Once we got on the trail, we used headlamps for the first four hours or so, as it was pitch black along the bottom of the holler. I wasn't worried about running into a bear but I'll tell you, I definitely thought about running across a hog in the dark.

Seems the counties south of I-40 and east of 421(?) are the counties most populated with hogs.
