AH MEMBER HUNT - HOST OUTFITTER?

The number of days poll is showing some great results.
I'll be on to the next question shortly.

I use the $150 meet/greet services with pre approved SAPS. Peace of mind is worth the price to me.

Clearing rifles in some parts of Mexico is another story though. I get a little nervous when 16 yr old boys, lots of them, are wandering around in camo with AK's.

I did the same thing on my one and only trip. I used a travel agency that the outfitter recommended and they made it easy. I even messed up my form and they were able to get it fixed. Then, I exited security without signing for my rifle. The local meet and greet guy told security to escort me back to the room to sign for my rifle case. I tipped the security guy who escorted me and the lady that had the signature log. Well worth the $20 each.

Ann went with me on our first safari to Zimbabwe and I would want her along on the next one. So, the idea of a couples option is appealing. We both want to see Victoria Falls. On that first hunt we also did a couple days at a fishing camp. Now, not to cast (pun intended) aspersions, but the hunting camp vs. fishing camp was night and day. I don't mind anyone having a cool one - but the other people in the fishing camp were drinking and obnoxious all day.

While we have our health, there is part of me who would prefer the challenge of something more remote than SA - maybe Zimbabwe (Martin?) again or Mozambique (Jaco?). My preference is for 1x1. And, if I'm going to commit to the lengthy flight and time change I would want to spend 10 days of hunting then the side trip to Vic Falls.

The fishing camp I have encountered in RSA was the most out of control with regard to drinking. Apparently you can drink all day and still sit in a boat and fish.

I was clear Wayne.

I meant a hint as to the next question. In case U need to study or something... ;)

Actually I was wondering the same thing lol. Maybe Im dense :)

Problem with those fishing camps is that they always use rotten bait. Your hands end up absorbing those bait juices and always ends up giving you a bad headache the next day......

Now I am totally confused!

LOL!!! i will just shut up...

what you thought a minute ago is right. Wayne originally thought I was saying I wanted results from the poll, which I wasn't.

so.... I wasn't even clear about being clear abot what I wasn't clear about. Am I clear? :A Stretcher::A Me You::E Confused::E Crazy:
