@Andrew Short ...Go to the Dallas Safari Club website, then to Convention, then to Hotels. it will list 10 or 12 hotels, list the prices, how far they are from the convention and other info you may want to know.

Thanks! I actually found that a few minutes ago @sierraone

@Philip Glass What are the most convenient/recommended hotels adjacent to the convention?

These three I know for sure are in walking distance: Crown Plaza, Homewood Suites, hampton inn. And the Omni is connected to the convention center.

A lot of hotels 3-5 miles out will be running shuttle services also

You can go to www.biggame.org and check out the recommended hotels. I like the Hyatt because it is nice and close but it is not on the list this year but still available. You can walk part way the convention through the underground train system and not be in the cold the whole way. The Adolphus is a good choice if one is bringing the wife as it is a classic old hotel. As we get closer to convention many will be booked up so you will just be looking at how far of a drive it is to the convention.
It will be a great time and I look forward to seeing everyone there.
Philip

We’re at the Westin again this year. Easy walk to the convention and short Uber to the AH dinner.

Have you seen anything about the AH dinner so far this year? I have not.

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
