A Drink For After the Hunt!

Why has no-one mentioned Sloe Gin?

Ok, maybe those outside the EU might not have heard of it but it's always in my hip flask for a celebratory swig right after a successful shot. :drooling:

you are right there Adrian its good stuff. i made a couple of big jars of damson vodka over this last winter and it was very good , not much left though........

I've never tried flavouring vodka but I must give it a go. I always like sloe gin and keep a bottle handy. I did make some cherry brandy a couple of years ago from the wild cherry tree in the garden but the intensity of the cherry flavour was lacking compared to commercial fruit. Still drank it though!

Don't for get to try the 'Gemsbuck' shooter either, it's very nice. Where the 'Springbuck' is three parts Peppermint Liqueur and one part Amarula, the Gemsbuck is three parts Kalua Coffee Liqueur and one part Amarula. Very popular amongst our ladies..! :flashboobies:

An outstanding drink that I learned from a good friend of mine is called a "Gin Buck." It consists of 1 oz gin, a splash of lemon juice, and the remainder of the glass filled with ginger ale. I prefer Tanqueray as the gin, but any will do.

When I went to Zimbabwe on my Cape Buffalo hunt, I introduced the my PH to it. They were skeptical at first, but after tasting it he became a true believer. After my father and I took each of our trophies, the he would suggest that we go back to camp "and celebrate with a gin buck!"

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
