9.3x64 Brenneke

RWS is weird, even by European gun trade circles.

I would say that they are producing ammunition for the war in Ukraine, and that is why they are booming but not doing much else. I don't know that to be true, but that seems to be the reason.

They also just got bought out by Beretta. So I don't know what that will mean for the future.

I was told the Italians are only interested in producing profitable ammunition. So I think there will be a downward spiral for RWS back to these cartridges if we are lucky.

The most popular cartridges in Europe, and a few military ones.

Then there is the fairly popular group, probably produced on a couple of runs a year.

I was told all the rare metric ones were going to be over. Or at minimum rarely produced.

And the 10,3x68 which were supposed to be to be « the all new one cartridge for everything anywhere , then it stopped suddenly . No mention of the 400 grain bullets , no audacity in saying «yes we copied a 40 + year old US wildcat «

.404 and 10,75 they stopped making many years ago at Rws as I know btw .

They didn't actually copy anything. Peter Vonow is the "inventor", and Johanes Dickhoff who I also believe is Swiss who worked for RWS got it going.

The problem Per is that you might see it as a big stopper. I have two of them and I see it more in the lines of the 400 Whelen.

I am shooting all weights of bullets from the Woodleigh 400's to the RWS 200's. They all shoot.

It is an unlucky damn cartridge when I am hunting, never seems to be something that wants to die when I have that rifle in my hands. So I have yet to kill anything with it.

I am going to use it on a stag this year, and maybe on fallow deer plus a couple driven hunts. Going to be great.

Back After a Long Time – Hello Again!

Hi everyone,

I’ve been a member since 2015 but haven’t been active since 2017. Life got busy, especially with building my second business. Still, I’ve kept my passion for hunting and followed things from afar. Now that I have more time, I’m excited to reconnect, contribute, and be part of the community again.

All the best,

I'd like a bag of 100. I could actually pick it up since I'm in North Irving, but if you prefer, shipping it is fine.
