300 H&H ammo

Ammoseek.com is your friend

Hendershot's will custom make 300 H&H ammo. It's called "Extreme Custom" and you can choose the bullet weight and the make of bullet such as Barnes, Hammer, Swift, Hornady, etc. I have several boxes of 180 grain Hornady spire point from Hendershot's.

Thank you. I'll check it out. I've been holding on to all my brass just in case I decided to hand load myself.

Wanted; 300 H&H 180 gr ammo.
Reloading Dies & Brass are relatively easy to come by. Brass is a bit $$$.

I just picked up my first 300H&H and found this the fastest way to get me shooting the rifle in an affordable fashion.

Agreed. What I've also found with reloading for the 300 H&H is the ability to create a real range of loads. I started with light 150 grain Hornady FMJ rounds that weren't much different recoil-wise than 30-06 (I had the 150s left over from loading for my M1 Garand) and then loaded 180 grain Sierras with more powder. I will also have Hendershot's load me some 200 grain Swift A-Frames. It's a very flexible caliber.

To your point. 150 grain bullets with a minimum powder charge has proven very pleasant at the range. And fine for .

Just ordered a box. Thanks for the heads-up.

Good deal. It's going to take a week or so before you get them. I believe it took about 2 1/2 weeks to get my 3 boxes. Took the ammo to South Africa, and my friend and I shot some fine animals with this ammo. No issues from the ammo.

I just sold my 300H&H and have Nosler 180gr Accubonds that I’ll sell you. Shoot me a DM.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
