Thanks. I'll check it out.Ammoseek.com is your friend
Thank you. I'll check it out. I've been holding on to all my brass just in case I decided to hand load myself.Hendershot's will custom make 300 H&H ammo. It's called "Extreme Custom" and you can choose the bullet weight and the make of bullet such as Barnes, Hammer, Swift, Hornady, etc. I have several boxes of 180 grain Hornady spire point from Hendershot's.
Reloading Dies & Brass are relatively easy to come by. Brass is a bit $$$.Wanted; 300 H&H 180 gr ammo.
To your point. 150 grain bullets with a minimum powder charge has proven very pleasant at the range. And fine for .Agreed. What I've also found with reloading for the 300 H&H is the ability to create a real range of loads. I started with light 150 grain Hornady FMJ rounds that weren't much different recoil-wise than 30-06 (I had the 150s left over from loading for my M1 Garand) and then loaded 180 grain Sierras with more powder. I will also have Hendershot's load me some 200 grain Swift A-Frames. It's a very flexible caliber.
See the post by KC Safari. He has 300 H&H 180 grain Accubonds for sale.Thank you. I'll check it out. I've been holding on to all my brass just in case I decided to hand load myself.
