100 year old plus guns

Good luck getting any shells from them other than 2 3/4. I’ve been asking for 2 1/2 paper, paper for about 4 years. The answer was they doubt they ever make it again.
10 bore is available right now along with the excellent pigeon load.

1881 Marlin in 40-60. I also have an Ideal tong tool for reloading.

One of the few guns that I've sold that I didn't end up regretting selling it...I shot it well but I don't think I ever saw the front bead...1911 Parker Bros...it had it's 100th birthday between these two photos.

This was the first ever lever repeating rifle designed for thumper cartridges (also available in 45-70). It was obviously intended for shooting buffalo and Indians. I have not hunted with it. It's very difficult to draw a tag for either of them these days.

A few more sitting around, a Stevens Crack Shot 26 and an Ithaca Flues 20ga made in 1917. These two have unique character in their appearance, but they work.

The Auto-5 turns a century old in 3 years, 16ga, but it's chambered for 2-9/16". I find it strange that the barrel has Ogden, Utah and the frame has St Louis, Missouri.

Hello @Clodo Ferreira, very nice original Mauser you have!

A question I’m hoping you can help me with. With the excellent low installed scope, how do you operate the flag safety?

Thanks,

V.
Hi Vertigo,

The safety flag is a Buehler two position. In the safe position it doesn't touch the scope. I remember when I bought it at the Buehler shop in Orinda, California, 1985...

Remington model 14 in 30 rem manufactured 1920. Mannlicher Schoenauer model 1905 proofed in 1921.Mauser 98 commercial proofed in1940. Love me some 100 year old rifles that have yet to be improved upon

Have a model 95 Winchester in .35 Win from 1903.
An LSA Enfield factory sporter in 303 from 1900 or before, not sure.
Model 8 Remington semi auto in .25 Rem from early 1900's.
Model 12 Winchester about 100
May be others hiding in the safe(s), but who knows?
