In addition for the first time ever we will be offering limited plains game after the elephant is taken.

Plains game limited to Kudu, impala, warthog, bush pig, hyena.
We have never allowed plains game hunting in our concession.

We have a leopard hunt starting today. So I have to verify plains game prices.

Just had to post this. At the moment we have the most wonderful client. He took his very nice leopard yesterday afternoon.

This gentleman has saved for leopard for 10 yrs had either two or three unsuccessful on hunts in Namibia. Second day of hunt 3rd hr. In blind perfect shot. The rest of the story is his to tell.

In 2024 we are 100% successful leopard, elephant, hippo, croc hyena. At affordable prices.

Congrats Lon.
Magnificent cat.
I am trying to close dates and conditions with your company to take your last ele hunting this year and make a film of it for several days already. No luck yet.
If you are interested please let me know.

Best regards

This will be our last Elephant hunt for the year we want to end with a 100 success rate for the year. Our hunting area consists of very heavy cover. For safety and success I do not think that a camera man or crew would serve either or our best interest.

Excellent cat and excellent deal wish I could make this happen but don’t have the available time off unfortunately

I understand, I just want this hunt at this price go to one of our “regular” members. Elephant numbers here are great. They have very little fear of man. Water is in short supply which is great for us.

Lon, congrats on Mr. Spots—really nice cat!
On the elephant hunt, put the 15% ( you had referenced in earlier post ) on top of your ‘24’ price and let’s try to plan for ‘25’. I am still down from the back surgery, been 2 weeks. Obvious that anything for remainder of this year would not be possible so please consider what we might do for next.
Hope your recovery is going in the right direction as well.

Lon,
Do you hunt lions in your area and are they importable to the USA?

We have one lion permit yearly. We only hunt lions if one is leaving the nearby park and hitting the livestock below us. Years ago we had a beautiful black mane lion that would raid the village daily. Afraid of no one we offered as a add on for $5,000.00. No one took advantage and it was eventually shot as a PAC.

Is this a day hunt in the traditional way of tracking only and what are the weight expectations?

Day time leave camp by hunting vehicle then track from that point we can but do not do night elephant hunting. These are not normally big elephant 15 to 20 lb exportable to USA.

Bob we were astounded when no one took us up on this one no added daily fee just $5,000.00 trophy fee.

I use to have pictures of the lion he would just walk past us on the nightly raids. We kept the community from poisoning him. Which pissed off the community because they ended up getting nothing. They got even by poisoning a lioness and two year old cubs.

That story is worth repeating. I'm sure you are saying that if a hunter had come. Shot the lion and paid the trophy, the community wpukd have received payment. And that is the narrative you and all operators need to successfully prevent poaching and revenge killings.

Has a hunter shown up and paid the fee. O assume it would have been very likely the community woukd have left the female and cubs live?
