Thanks Mate. I will give it a go. ABF Tullamarine was more simple a on my last trip but Qatar does not fly to Windhoek anymore so will go Qantas through Sydney and overnight in Joburg.

I had similar problems and my daughter got me a therapist. I was not convinced at first but something needed to be done. So I followed her advice and it really has helped. Just my 2 cents worth.

Magnificent shot. I have to pull and then reload some new .416 Rigby cartridges and replace the projectiles with Woodleigh Hydros. Hunting for a bull elephant next year. My rifle is a scoped Mauser 98E. Sure hope I can do as well. Did you use sticks or freehand?

Hi guys. Can anyone tell me the best way to get to Botswana from Australia without transiting in South Africa. I want to avoid the hassle of getting a temporary South African firearms permit just transit to Botswana and later back again through South Africa.
