My sincerest apology to @Skshyk. I just went through my gun safe and I no longer have a 300WM bbl. Reading through this thread, I have sold it early last year. I did however verify that I have a 30.06 and a 338 WM bbl and they are still for sale. Regards,

Seriously @xbr897? You come to a hunting forum and ask whether you should get another rifle or in this case another barrel? Of course the answer is a resounding YES!! Since you have a Blaser R8, adding a new caliber should be easy. You won’t have to worry about whether the stock fitting...

@rookhawk you might want to give Barnes bullet a call. I had a similar issue in the past and they were more than happy to share their unpublished load data for the caliber I was working on at the time.

@Colorado Luckydog, as some have already suggested, you might want to consider rangefinder binos. I currently use Swarovski EL RF binos w/ TA and am very happy with it. You should be able to find gen 1 well within your budget but the latest generation in mid to upper 2K. I think there isn't a...

Our trophies are completely finished by Lifeform. But alas my buddies have a zebra each and one has a warthog. Oh wells...I guess it will be to Seattle then barge up to Los Anchorage.

@Woodcock Hunter. My friends and I used Lifeform Taxidermy last year after our 1st safari. Guy and his crew did an excellent job on our trophies with a good turnaround time (~5 months). His team maintained close communication throughout the whole process. If I were to hunt in South Africa...

There is a company in Utah, J Sip and Sons, that will custom build R8 bbls. You might want to look into them. R8 custom bbl
