Just read this thread and did a search for green mile safari. Did they truly just get awarded a license and concession this past summer. unbelievable.

I am looking for opinions on this. For those that have videotaped your safari are you happy that you did or would the money have been better spent in another trophy fee? For those that have not but have gone on safari do you wish you had?

Has anyone had taxidermy work done at Trophy Pro SA? I know they do a good job dipping and packing, but I was wondering about actual mounts of the trophies.

I agree. Mine was spot and stalk. Did not enjoy the meat and they smell terrible. However, it was a really fun hunt

Just got my mount back from the taxidermist. Went on a coues deer hunt this year and had opportunities but those deer are difficult with a bow. Did manage to get a javelina. Will probably never hunt them again, but they do make a nice mount

This. Get the best pair of 10x42 you can afford for hunting. I have gone through all types of spotting scopes. I now have one of the best and it only comes out on mule deer hunts. My binoculars always go. If you are going to the gun range a 65mm will handle just about anything.

That's why I was thinking of taking the Kuiu gear I have. I do not have zip off pants and all my light weight shirts are either Kuiu or a few Sitka. I am thinking it would be better to take what I have and invest in more powder for shooting.

Yea I used to use Sitka but like Kuiu. I can take two shirts and one pair of pants and spend at least a week in the back country. Figured it should do the job.

Lol yea the good thing my wife wants to go when the kids are older. My problem is not the hunt but explaining the taxidermy. Problem with having a wife the hunts is she knows about cost associated with all the different types of mounts.
