They have a species and value of each on their website, to me all seem pretty reasonable except for roan antelope. I’m pretty sure I’m going to get some of this insurance.

I shoot 300gr DGX out of my .375 Ruger for everything except my one and only elephant and a community reedbuck both solids and I’ve never had that kind of damage on anything with it. I have had that kind of damage using 7mm Rem Mag and .270 Win. on whitetail and a pronghorn.

Did Coppersmiths charge $1000? I have never paid more than around $550 that I can remember. I also just checked their website and their base clearance fee is$475. If I remember correctly the extra cost was for USDA. I believe their fee was a base of $50 and for every animal above 5 it was $10...

Same in Alabama, the law states “center fire mushrooming ammunition only” for deer. However buckshot is legal. I’ve used my .375 Ruger on quite a few whitetail, works well.
