CHAD: Western Greater Kudu & Red Fronted Gazelle Club Faune & ACN

Sounds like a great trip - i will admit to a bit of envy!

Thanks for posting . . . Love the exotic hunts.

Great hunt and writeup, thanks for posting!

Just finished the read of this hunting report. Fabulous adventure and great recount of each day. I do want to note I appreciated you mentioning your mornings starting with prayer. I often tell my wife my most spiritual moments come while I am in the bush as God’s creation is the on such beautiful display. And, as I stated on your trophy room build thread, I am all up in your journey to see that room to fruition! Just awesome!

Amen Brother, there is nothing like spending time outdoors in God's great creation. The wild places seem to really ground you.

Sorry for the delay, for your viewing entertainment.

I thoroughly enjoyed the video. Wonderful animals!
Were the camels "livestock" or wild? Seems like a great population of wildlife in that area. Is the wildlife isolated to small pockets in Chad? Best group of trophy warthogs I've seen in one place.
Maybe I'll catch up with you in San Antonio at the TTHA show soon.

Are there any outfitters in Chad? Or how is the booking of a hunt in Chad organized?

Beautiful video, thank you for sharing with us.

Thanks @buck wild I’m glad you enjoyed it. There is only one hunting area open in the country. The livestock should not be there but are property is nomadic herdsmen that move in and out.

We won’t be at San Antonio TTHA but my son did Houston and we will be in Ft. Worth.

Only one outfitter operates there, I’m not sure of the status with Americans at the moment. I don’t think Chad is granting visas.

I also enjoyed watching the video of your hunt last night. It really struck a chord being that it took place in a “new” land (rarely seen amongst many of the other safari videos, which I also enjoy) and “new” species which appealed to my sense of adventure. The great warthogs and the bird eating the other bird at the water hole were memorable.

I enjoyed tagging along if only in my mind. Thanks for sharing.

Not much to say other than incredible!!, normally I don’t have the patience to watch full length videos but this was an exceptional hunt with incredible animals and trophies.
Absolutely a grand adventure.
