Politics

It does matter what he campaigned on. Integrity and trust in elected is something we should strive for (regardless of where they are on the political spectrum). So rallying his supporters to get the pitchforks out about the files, to now telling everyone to forget about them and move on is the exact opposite of what integrity is. Say what you do and do what you say
When you start voting as an American, then you can lecture us from up on that soap box. You have your own political leadership problems you should be concerned with, instead of constantly criticizing us for ours.
Until then..... many of us dont really care about the Epstein fiasco. It's nothing but a time wasting distraction.

Sure I’ll give you a perfect example about Canadian issues I don’t agree with. Our conservative leader couldn’t win his own riding, so he pushed out another MP and is calling a by election in hopes of getting a seat. If any other leader tries that Pierre would be frothing at the mouth. To me that’s not a sign of integrity, and he should set aside and make room for someone else to take the reigns.

And I like how the “Party of Family Values” claim to not care about a possible powerful group of pedophiles.

"Doesn't matter what he campaigned on."

That's downright obtuse. It absolutely matters; I vote based on what people tell they will support or not support. As Aaron said, stand behind what you say you are going to do. Otherwise what you say is worthless.

Y’all may be giving politicians more credit than they deserve! I don’t trust any of them to keep any campaign promises, this includes my late Father in Law, he was the Sheriff in our county and also served 2 terms in the state legislature. He was a very good man but still a politician.

I hate to say it but sometimes we need to vote for the candidate on what they MIGHT do in office.

You’re absolutely right, and that is the sad reality of it. Accountability needs to be a thing.

They will suffer a much worse fate on judgement day.
That may be so, but I’d still like to see retribution on their earthly bodies just to be sure.

We all would. Unfortunately in todays political arena, there are people that are too well protected, and too many spineless republican leaders that are not nasty enough to pull down the curtain and go after the vermin that belong in prison.
They talk tough, and put on a good show, but that's about all it is.

But you just said to drop it earlier, so which is it? Release everything and burn the place down, or sweep it under the rug?

Its not that simple. If they dont have any damning evidence in hand, nothing they can do if a judge wont allow the Epstein. court documents to be unsealed.
I dont think they did a deep dive into what's available before spouting off about about releasing what may not have really been there in the first place
If there is a cover-up, shame on them for being part of the quagmire

You just described Trump on this issue. You realize that, right?

RNC Co chair ,Michael Whatley, is going to run for the North Carolina Senate seat being vacated by a retiring Tillis.
Lara Trump decided not to run for that seat.
The North Carolina race is a state where the Democrats feel they have the best chance of picking up an additional senate seat.

Trump went over to tour the construction of the new $3.1 billion dollar Federal Reserve building.
Powell was arguing with Trump when confronted by the ridiculous cost.
Must be a whole bunch of those $1000 toilet seats in there. We all know the Feds spend 3 times what an average cost would be for us mortals

One of my first out of country hunts was 65 years ago to British Columbia elk hunting. My guide had picked up an attractive hitch hiker and was blinded by love. She was supposed to watch his cabin while we hunted. When we returned she was gone and so were my valuables including my money clip i had hidden in the toe of a shoe. Since then my money stays in a belt at all times. During the decades of travel since then a couple knives have disappeared from luggage and a camera from a tent.
Have had three special trophies exchanged for smaller ones. I still have the memories of the hunts

Federal laws like Davis-Bacon act and extra paperwork are the reason for Federal projects costing more. We bid and charge X times more for Federal projects than private sector projects.

All you TDSers out there please don’t even try to gaslight me about Powell. That short, recorded video exchange at the Fed construction site between Trump and Powell was priceless. Tells me all I need to know about Powell confirming suspicions I’ve had for a long time after watching Powell desperately trying to help get Biden re-elected/then Harris elected. BTW, while on economics, haven’t heard much from or about the ole “Transitory temporary inflation” Biden/Dem hack Janet Yellen lately???

Same interest goes for the recorded, documented FACT that Trump called for release of the Epstein files… followed by a BHO appointed judge blocking the release. Go ahead, try to spin it all you want. Only gaslighted idiots infected with incurable TDS, would try to spin it or believe the opposite. All this is simply more proof TDS is certainly a mental disorder.
