Does anyone have any experience with a rifle from Reimer Johannsen? I know they make great CRF rifles but there is not alot of info online about them. I'd like to hear peoples thoughts that has experience with rifles from this maker compared to others such as Rigby, Hartmann & Weis, Heym etc. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

They have a very good reputation in Europe, I guess you have allready seen it, but if not Roger Rule has a clip on Youtube where he talks alot about the company and the quality of their rifles.

Reimer Johannsen belongs to the upper class when it comes to building custom hunting rifles. More comparable to Hartmann & Weiss than to Rigby or Heym, which primarily produces serial or semi-custom rifles. Prices are also not comparable. A friend of mine own such a rifle caliber 416 Rigby built by Johannsen.

Reimer Johansson, Theo Jung, Hartman & Weiss, always been kind of shrouded in mystery. Probably a level of luxury most won’t experience in life. Seen some of all their work, elite level rifle building from artisans that clearly are gifted with rare skills

This company has a good reputation. I have never owned a weapon built by them, but I had something done on one of my rifles. The workmanship was horrible, I had the rifle fixed somewhere else.

Reimer Johannsen is not shrouded in mystery; he owns a gun shop and sells a lot of items, among other things components for reloading cartridges. I often buy from him online.

I had no idea, they appear to be a full service gun shop and retailer......interesting. Had never been on their site before,......thanks for the info

I think only to us in the U.S., not our European brethren. I was very late to the game in discovering about Reimer Johannsen, Theo Jung and Hartmann & Weiss. Thanks to Roger Rule’s videos I’ve been able to better educate myself about these wonderful German rifles, considered to be some of the best DG bolt action rifles made.

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
