Hi everyone,
I'm Marius Eygelaar, from the Eastern Cape, and new to AH.

As I'm an Outfitter / PH, I guide clients on their safaris', hunting their trophy wishlists.
My personal passion, when I'm not guiding, has developed into Jackal Hunting with thermal.
It's proving to be an interesting journey, but really great fun!

I'm looking forward to interacting with you all.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Marius

G’day from Australia.
I’ve been to Grahamstown. We went into Connock’s Butchery and a couple of shops there.

Hi.. Yeah, Grahamstown is a "quaint" little town. Everyone knows everyone! Great that you were here! Did you come on a hunt? Or sightseeing?

Just hunting, Our first international trip and I had always wanted to hunt Africa and other places.
We did go see Addo and Pumba Game reserves.

Welcome aboard!

Greetings and welcome to the forum.
I recently had my first African haircut at Babus's, just around the corner from the Rat & Parrot

Great to see game meat being processed and sold to the public there

@Sika98k that’s great. I got behind the scenes too as the outfitters own the butchers.
I do a bit of meat and lately Smallgoods it’s always been something I’ve wanted to be able to do as an interest

Welcome to AH.
Glad to have another outfitter sponsor on the forum.

That's great - I believe the Eastern Cape has a rich diversity of game, and is simply amazing! I'm glad you got to experience our area!

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
