show me a pic of your favorite outdoor place ever found

The wild places of east central Arizona.View attachment 610037
I can appreciate the ruggedness of that area! Similar to the NM-AZ state line around Alpine. In ‘67 or ‘68 I tore the saddle horn off a saddle on a horizontal piñon limb while chasing dogs on a mtn lion track in Eastern AZ. . I will never know how I survived that w/o serious injury. There is a lot of that type deceptively rough country in parts of AZ. Maybe one of the reasons jaguars occasionally are found there.

Impossible to narrow it down to one.. Here are a few. I'll be adding some African landscapes to this in August..

Too many to choose just one. The Pacific side of the Alaska Peninsula is very special to me. The mountains remind me of Colorado but come down right to the sea. Whether in my cabin or a tent camp, it’s always special to hunt there. On a clear day, you can see the icy peaks that never melt.

Then there’s my “office” in a wilderness area bordering Rocky Mountain National Park where I’ve been blessed to work/guide for 34 years and where one of our sons proposed to his wife before we all ate lunch during a summer horseback ride. Notice the champagne bottles!

As mentioned earlier in another post by another member, the San Juan Mountains in SW Colorado are spectacular.

Last but not least, this picture of the sunrise in the Serengeti just after I shot my lion was truly amazing! The contrast of the green grass against the orange sky - wow!

Hi PaulB. Would you be interested in another WJ Jeffery .450/.400 NE 3". It's an extractor model and in superb condition, cased as well. Made in 1908. The rifle is here in Texas.
