Sounds like Dalton walked your legs off but it was worth it in the end!

I was glad I was in pretty good physical shape. The walking itself wasn't a surprise I think it was more the mental aspect that once you cut a track you are walking till you kill an animal or till the Sun goes down. I have hunted all day numerous times but something about this hunt was mentally different. Once you come to peace with that, hunting is not a problem and you want to walk faster and longer between any breaks because you want to catch them. It was a really cool experience.

Btw Dalton can cover some ground! My man can walk!

Just read your hunt report "LivingThe Dream" and I must say I was on the edge of my seat. What an experience!! Congratulations. A hunt no doubt you will remember forever.

An amazing and wonderful story! Well told and fun. The sand grouse running by is nice touch. Reminds me of the quote attributed to a member of Pickett's division at Gettysburg. A rabbit ran through the lines and a soldier is purported to have said; "Run ol' har', if I was har' I'd run too!" Glad you got your elephant, you are in a unique club! Too bad you couldn't get the bullets but since you had a dead elephant I guess they worked.;)

Hi Joshlee0518 (please let me know if you are fine being addressed like that),

Thought I would drop you a PM. It is super exciting to plan a hunt and we are more than happy to assist you. Have you given any thought yet to which species you would like to take?

What do you hunt usually and which weapons/calibers are you using?

Look forward to swapping experiences and ideas.

Happy hunting - Daniel
