Nice photos, Victor. It's hard to say who is uglier, the warthog or me.

I had a great hunt with you last year, managed to take all four animals on my wish list (kudu, kuala, gemsbok, and warthog), and the wife and I had a great time. I can't recommend Karoo Wild Safaris more highly.

Wow - stunning animals! Those springbok are proper

All fine trophies, but I really like those night critters! Near the start of this there was a picture showing the belly of a caracal. It had spots! Is that normal? I’ve never seen a picture of their belly before.

Most of them do. The spots on that Tom one were particularly prominent

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.
