Great price for that hunt and for a 50" sable. The game management programs in South Africa have really produced great Sable, Kudu, Buffalo, etc. and in growing numbers that have resulted in trophy fees coming down. Just five or ten years ago, even if you could find a 50 " Sable, you would probably have paid closer to $20,000, maybe more. Another example is black Impala. When I hunted mine in 2018 the fee for a trophy quality black impala was about $3000 and today the fee at the same outfitter is $1900, I think. Congratulations to the South Africa game breeders.

Thank you for all the inquiry, this bull has, been sold.
We have identified 2 x 47"+ bulls that will be available for 2021 only.

Pm me for details.

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….
