@roklok , I shot my elephant four times.
Shot #1 through the right side of head as ele quartered toward me. Bullet exited the left shoulder.
Shot #2 through the left shoulder exiting near or in front of the right shoulder.
Shot #3 with elephant on her right side quartered away from me, through the left side of chest, exiting the far side.
Shot #4 on my knee to put her out of any misery, through back of head exiting the front of neck area.

All of my 450 CEB Solids passed through the 7,000 lbs. elephant. From what it appeared, all CEB solids traveled in straight lines through her flesh and bones.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a properly loaded, mighty .458 Winchester Magnum!
