Just returned from 3rd hunt to Zim. This time Maninga for sable and leopard. Great hunting area that is recovering nicely from poaching pressure of the past. Couldn't get the leopard but the ancient sable and kudu were outstanding! 2 Duiker, oribi, waterbuck, zebra, impala, 2 bushbuck, and a side striped jackal rounded things out. Can't say enough for Jannie Meyer with Buffalo trail safaris and to the anti poaching scouts stationed there. Saw some herds of Buffalo with a few up and coming mature bulls as well.

Sable numbers were incredible with many herds and some very nice mature bulls.

Outstanding. I’m not familiar with Maninga. Where is it in Zim?
