ZIMBABWE: Elephant Hunt In Zimbabwe

Congratulations on a fine Bull.

Were you able to tell what path the previous hunters bullet traveled and how the wound healed? I completely understand that things often go quickly when an Elephant is being dressed out.

Unfortunately not; things were moving so fast with processing the animal that we couldn’t even say where the bullet was. It was found in a chunk of meat after we rolled the bull to start the second side.

Having been a part of two elephant and four Cape buffalo “skinnings” I completely understand not wanting to get anywhere near all those swinging bush axes! Congratulations on your bull elephant! I shot a bull earlier this year. And the feeling you get when walking up to such a big animal is unreal to say the least.

Well done!!
