my most prized custom rifle is this 1903 springfield high number 3006, came from a public auction for a fourth of what it cost to build. with my load of a 165gr nosler bullet and 55 grs of IMR 4350 shoots close to one inch three shot groups at 100 yards from a bench.

Ich spreche und verstehe Stutzen also, aber "Stutzen" auf Gunbroker.com findet meistens Blazer gewehre.
So I use "Mannlicher style" to cast a wider net in my searches. So far no seller I have purchased from used the term Stutzen in their listings. There are plenty of truly beautiful rifles out there but I look for utilitarian ones that I won't highly fret over any cosmetic damage if it happens, and that I can economically replace the stock if it gets too famaged to be practical. My rifles are more like a set of golf clubs. providing me with options in caliber and configuration.
I just won an auction for a Zastava Model 70 in 9.3x62. Alcohol and Gunbroker DO NOT MIX!!! This is basically a commercial Mauser 98, with a different safety. Weight is said to be 7lbs. Barrel length 22" with iron sights. View attachment 299879 Does anyone have any experience with these rifles?
I'll be joining the Alcohol Lobby to block such legislation...
After all where would Amazon, WayFair and OverStock be if not for a bottle of wine and a lap top after a bad day?
No reason GB should suffer.
Who says booze and firearms don't mix...

These are fine rifles, probably not the same finishing as a lot of other guns but as a working rifle, you cannot go wrong with it! And the 9,3x62 is a great round!
9.3x62 is an awesome cartridge. Zastava's are an excellent, well built rifle. May be a bit rough in spots but use will fix that.
Not to hijack the thread but would like to show accuracy of the cartridge, and what you should expect. Shot with BRNO 600 in 9.3x62 I just picked up.
Results at 100 & 200yds with 285gr PRVI RN loads (exact same result using 285gr Lapua MEGA's).
Sorry for the unprofessional targets but it was raining so had to use some Coroplast plastic sheets.
100yds (5 rounds)
200yds
Figured after 3 rounds it was a pretty good indicator of what was going on.
Wasn't able to try 300yds yet.
So hopefully your Zastava will shoot just as well.
