I’ve had @PeteG as a PH. He is a very good PH. Getting those three should not be a problem almost anywhere. If you are going to Zambia you should be looking at Kafue Lechwe or Black or both. Those are not available anywhere else.

Prices have skyrocketed in Zambia but definitely a bucket list place for every hunter.

We have quota available in Chifunda for 2027 (and also 4 client tents in camp) to accommodate 3 hunters for buffalo, croc, and hippo. Chifunda has 40 miles of luangwa River frontage and is across from North Luangwa National Park. We have a stable of very experienced Zambian PHs that we work with that know the Luangwa hunting areas well and try and match the right personality fits with our clients.

We are planning a hunting trip to Zambia in 2027, primarily we are targeting hippo, crocodile, and buffalo, with a group of three hunters.

If anyone has recent, highly recommended PHs they’ve worked with in the area, we’d greatly appreciate any referrals or contact info.

I hunted with Eulalie Hunting Safaris when they first opened around 2006. We were very lucky and made a deal with the owner Isan to have the entire Lodge and hunting area just for Jill and I for the 8 days. I think he had access to 10,000 acres. Unbelievable HUNT. We took Seven Plains Game trophies.
