Another thing a buddy of mine suggested along with the journal to use the voice memos feature on the phone or carry a small voice recorder.. I think I might try that also.

Congrats and enjoy the first time Safari.. Zambia is one of favorite countries to hunt and I just know you will be overjoyed.
Great selection of rifles for this hunt.
Make sure you use premium ammo for the buffalo...like Swift A frames 300gr or similar on top of premium Solid's for back up shots if need be.
