Your endorsement for a limited edition of Ruger Rifles

All would be great additions to my collection but I doubt that they would be available in the great white north, somewhere between Montana and Alaska. I dare to dream.

I'm certain you could get them there. BorderView is a CDA/US importer. Their fees aren't terrible, but it would only make sense to bring in 3-4 guns at a go. ($250 for first gun, $125 each additional, something like that)

Bolt action in African trim:

Jackal 25-06
Leopard 7x64 Brenneke
Kudu 300H&H
Lion 9.3x62
Buffalo 404 Jeffrey

Ruger #1’s
Minis. .22 Hornet
Blesbok, Impala - 7X57
Gemsbok, Wildebeest - 8X57, 8X68s, .300H&H
Eland, Lion, Buffalo - .375H&H, 9.3X62
All dangerous Game - .416 Rem Mag, Rigby, Taylor
I would support any that I have listed.

Thanks for the info(y)

416 Rigby, 375 H&H, 338 WinMag, 300 WinMag, 30-06

7X57 Mauser (275 Rigby)
300 H&H
375 H&H
416 Rigby
404 Jeffrey

All classics in African Calibres in older proven calibers and all available in Ruger No. 1
I don't think this list can be improved on if you were trying for Classic African Hunting calibers in bolt action rifles.

Covers everything a person would want to kill and each historic for African Hunting.

I could be done with just the 3 in the middle but I don't think there are any more classic calibers for Africa than those 5. Not claiming they are the best 7mm or 300 ever but they are the most steeped in Africa history

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.
