Why reduce the powder load on the 22-250, I use my 375H&H and 416 Rigby ( as well as all my other cartridges) on cats and rabbits

To your point, I took 3 of the Tiny 10 with the 416 and 400 grain solids last fall.....dead is dead if you don't mind the recoil.

To me, it is practice, and staying proficient with the larger cartridges.

I'd probably change the picks up, just a little, based on recent acquisitions... now;
