Thanks for info. Bullberry makes a great barrel and will go that route if I can't find a Rochester 416.

I've had 2 barrels made by Match Grade Machine (I think they used to be Virgin Valley Custom Guns) and have been very pleased with the quality and accuracy. They specialize in Encore and Contender barrels.

Prices at the time were significantly lower than Bullberry. Based on the prices shown above, I think they still are.

You are correct with MGM & Virgin Valley connection. I have a Virgin Valley in 338 RUM if someone is interested. MGM does make a great barrel as well. Still hoping that someone has a Pro Hunter barrel that needs a new life and restored identity other than safe queen.
