Well.....I didn't win the Gurkha home bar cabinet at the event, but I came away with a few raffle prizes and some swag.
Not a big turnout compared to the Drew Estate event in November. There was good food and lots of cold beer & hootch.
Bought a box of the Castle Hall's, and 11 other Gurkhas in variety, which got me 20% off, plus 6 raffle tickets and 4 free cigars.
Not a bad haul.

There's supposed to be another event in late April. The rep said that the Gurkha President was coming to town. Ill find out more later.

Gurkha travel humidor.

I won two different pairs of Gurkha coffee mugs. Gave one set to a good buddy who met me down there for the event .

The Gurkha rep said that the Gurkha Revenant was one of his favorite "go to" Gurkha cigars.
I bought one of these box pressed Robusto's to sample.
Kind of reminds me a little bit of the My Father, La Flor de las Antilles with the sun grown wrapper.

Coffee and cigar what a wonderful and perfect combination. Well done brother(y)(y)

I like my Connecticut's with the weekend morning Coffee.

Yes, normally the lighter shade cigars go better with coffee. I, however, have tried a maduro wrapper and the sweetness of the cigar has complimented and balanced the bitterness of the coffee. Sometimes is a bit of trial and error :ROFLMAO:, but one can't go wrong by smoking a cigar at any time. (y)

The coffee & cigar comes before breakfast, so I stick with a mellow smoke. The flavor of many Maduros and Habanos really compliment the coffee.
Just not on an empty stomach.....LOL

Oh nooooo, I never smoke a cigar on an empty stomach. Ask me how I know that. LOL!!!

A cigar and a cognac or bourbon at the end of the day is always a great combo. But, whatever you decide is up to you. Enjoying a cigar and beverage of your choice is what it is all about.
