Would you like a Cigar?

Negative ghost rider, I’ve never heard of them, any good???

BTW, last night CAO Flat Head was not bad at all. It burned well, lots of smoke and flavors of coffee, & cocoa. That one has been in my humidor for well over 6 months. It was better than I remember:)

Found a box of these Padilla Doctrine cigars I didn’t know I had, so been smoking a few and the burn and taste are quite good. Since I don’t remember buying, can’t say if a good deal but smokes about like a $4 price range cigar, peppery with some oaky undertones. Not bad for a surprise.

The Esteban Carreras wasn't bad for a Connecticut. It was something I grabbed at the Cigar shop this weekend, don't even remember the price. It said, aged 12 years, but I really doubt it.

I bought a couple boxes of Padilla last year. Maduro snd Connecticut. For a budget boutique, I was impressed with the flavor and quality.

I looked Esteban Carreras up, and they had a big banner saying “Lo Mejor de Lo Mejor”…sounds like a big negative on that boastful claim. At least it wasn’t bad

My brother and I recently returned from safari with KMG in SA. We were the only hunters at the Lodge, and I was the only cigar smoker. Undeterred, I burned more than one in the spirit personal pleasure, brotherhood and the hunt. Para and Uncle Sauce others may recognize this place.

Well......looks like the dog days of Summer have arrived. Supposed to be a 110 degrees this weekend, and 112 next week. Double ugh! I really need to move to cooler climates.

I'll just have to try and beat the heat, veith plenty of cold beer, air conditioning, and Cigars of course.

Arturo Fuente Rosado Gran Reserva. Always a good solid smoke.

Sounds like you need a place up on Mt. Lemmon
I was thinking farther north...... Montana. My home away from home.

Although, I might go up to Rose Canyon lake soon for some trout fishing. That road up there makes me nervous. Lots of idiots, and accidents.

Some years ago, I did all the cabinets & millwork on a contractor friends cabin that he built on Mt. Lemmon. The mountain caught fire, and burned his cabin to the ground, along with many others.

I get that. It’s always heavy traffic unless the winter 4x4 requirements are in effect.

I remember one of the years it burned and how it looked like a volcano.

Problem with moving anywhere nice out west: Californian Mass Exodus

@Mort Hill. Have you started writing your hunt report? If you did, somehow I can't seem to find it. :(

Half the mountain burned last year in the Bighorn fire.

@PARA45, I have not started a report. My inside support is on vacation this week, well deserved I might add, so between catching up from 3 weeks gone, and playing centerfielder, all I am doing is working. Plan is to start the hunt report this weekend. Have cigars, popcorn and adult beverages ready!

Under Crown 10th Anniversary :). This is a first for me :)

Shout out to the O-man @PARA45 - tried this Oliva Serie V in No 4 size (corona 5x43) this AM. Burned exactly like the Robusto - maybe about 10 min difference in smoking time? Oliva's are definitely consistent.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

X5i scope is perfect - thanks for an easy transaction! Buy with confidence.
Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA
