Will we be silent??

So basically what happen is the anti's accused us of voting multiple times (we did) and were upset and thought that this had to be the reason they were getting their hat handed to them. So they complained and they changed the voting to make it more accurate. Then to their surprise we are still up 68%. I'm sure they will cry about something else as well, or their head will explode.

Don't let up my friends! The anti's numbers are slowly starting to climb again

Is anyone a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation? This poll is pretty much their slogan. Have they been advised of this?

Just stopped by to see where we were in the voting and we are 77% to their 22%.
I bet the antis are in some sort of shock by this point.

Today I received an email from an outfitter I have with several times. The text is posted below.

Africa Hunting boasts nearly 27,000 members. If only 5% would respond to this poll that would be over 1300 votes. What say you? Do we remain silent and apathetic or do we vote and even better educate through comments?

This is the info from the email:

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

I am writing to ask you to help me stand up for our hunting heritage by voting in the affirmative in the poll found at the link below. This poll is connected to the upcoming public debate that will pit Field & Stream Magazine Editor Anthony Licata and I against HSUS CEO Wayne Pacelle and Adam Roberts, CEO of Born Free USA. This debate will take place on May 4th in New York City as part of the nationally syndicated radio program Intelligence Squared and will be aired on 200 public radio stations as well as webcast and podcast. The poll results will be part of the program and winning the poll is critical to putting these leading animal rights extremists on the defensive from the start of the program.

You can be part of our eventual victory by voting in favor of the proposition “Hunters Conserve Wildlife” by visiting http://intelligencesquaredus.org/debates/upcoming-debates/item/1496-hunters-conserve-wildlife&tab=2

Participation in the poll is open to all so please vote even if you reside outside of the United States. Please also share this appeal with those in your network who you feel might be interested.

As you can see from the number of votes already cast, animal rights extremists have already mounted a campaign to drive the poll in their favor. They have the momentum but we can take it from them and set the stage for Anthony and I to show the listening public how shallow and unethical the anti-hunting position is.

Thank you for your help and for all you do to conserve our outdoor heritage.

Best,

Hunters are murderers !
Of our planet's fauna and flora are endangered.
Hunters kills just for trophies, for the hungry there are shops !

I wonder if this idiot realizes where meat in stores comes from?

They probably think it magically appears in styrofoam packets wrapped with saran wrap

I believe next Wednesday (May 4th) is debate day. We can't let the idiots (I'm basing my opinion on most of the ridiculous and inflammatory comments; although a small minority take a respectful approach) gain any ground. Let's keep recruiting hunters to vote and find new outlets to vote from.....and KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! We're still at 75%

Looks like we are still impacting this thing!

Anyone see the debate?

It is disturbing to see on the graphs how much of the undecided pre-debate swung to the anti side post-debate :(

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
