Who is your preferred taxidermist?

Considering that this thread is about taxidermists, I might as well post my query here.

I am planning on starting my African hunting adventures in the near future with a plains game safari, and I hope to have all the animals taken on said safari mounted. As I am in Australia, I am unsure at to how I would go about having my animals mounted, and I want to make sure that I do my research before planning a safari. In another thread I remember reading that it is very hard to get hides through Australian customs that are dipped and packed (as opposed to tanned), and I have also read that many people advise against having your skins tanned in Africa.

I would really appreciate any advice, especially from other Australians or New Zealanders.

I'm 6'2" and my wife is 5' 6" for size reference

The story of this hunt was featured in The Western Hunter Magazine last spring.

I've said it before and stand firm.....Dennis is a top tear taxidermist.

Who is your preferred taxidermist?
I have used Mike Baird at B&B Taxidermy in Houston since 1996. He is just a hard working guy that has a tremendous amount of experience. He will be doing my 19th safari if I take an exceptional animal.

I have a new taxidermist hired.
He is world class and has a stellar reputation for communication, delivery and tip top shelf work.
He has agreed to all of my request parameters pending the quality of the capes he receives from TAOW are up to his standards
( his words )

Brand new development....
After a very lengthy telephone conversation with Duane and Jamie of the Artistry of Wildlife
They assured me that they would complete my work and do their best to amend the massive problems within the shop.

We will see......a second chance was given back in 2017
I am reluctant.....giving a third chance goes against my better judgement but Duane seemed genuine. I hope he is.
